Wow, it’s amazing to see how far our Harper’s Project has come in the last 3 months. The installation of the shingle roof is now complete and we are thrilled with the results. It looks fantastic and adds such character to the home. We have also installed all external windows and door frames, which is a big milestone for any home and also provides our team with protection from the elements on rainy days. In addition to this, the Albion Bricklaying team has only a few days left onsite, after spending weeks playing Tetris with the exterior stone cladding, fiddling with each piece of stone to find its perfect fit. Now we can take a step back and really getting a glimpse at how spectacular this home has been designed by Architect Rilla Healey, and the statement it makes within its surroundings.

Straightening walls is not only a tremendous effort, but a crucial step in the building process, ensuring that the house is structurally sound and stands the test of time. Overall, we are thrilled with the progress and are grateful for the hard work and dedication of everyone involved as we near the end of this enormous task.

As this part of the build comes to an end, a new phase begins with the
plumbing and aircon rough ins starting in the last week of June. Our team have also been busy fixing all cavity sliding door units into place.


In Quarter 3, our focus shifts to the fixing stage where our team of trusted subcontractors will be installing plaster, joinery and flooring. Seeing these materials and finishes come together will be a big milestone for this Project which has been in the pipeline for many years.


In April we completed two local Extension projects that both began simultaneously. Clients of our Begg Street Project came to us with the idea to extend their Laundry, Kitchen and Dining areas as well as replacing the tiled roof with Colorbond roofing.

The other project was close by and involved extending the front of the home to make space for a new Master Bedroom Suite and Formal Entry.

Both Projects ran to schedule and budget which is credit to our thorough estimating system and detailed tracking and scheduling processes.
